DRS was engaged to design a new exterior for the Greirson’s building, coordinate the new building systems planning and layout the retail space. The building was built in 1940 as a two story general store by the Champion company and had been vacant for 20+ years. New fenestration was designed for the original street front and large openings were made in the south façade to create two retail fronts. A mixture of store veneer, aluminum storefront, synthetic stucco and fabric awnings complete the transformation. |
