DRS offices are located in Pittsburgh on the 17th Floor of One Gateway Center overlooking the cityscape and the Three Rivers.    DRS made a commitment to improve our work environment by totally renovating our space.   This includes new Knoll workstations and office furniture as well as updating our computer systems. 

The design concept  was to open up the space to provide more flexibility and natural light by locating partitioned spaces in the interior core and workstations on the perimeter.  The ceiling treatment has been minimized by exposing the structure in the majority of the spaces and indirect lighting was installed.  Energy Star appliances were specified.  The floor treatment includes recycled carpet tiles, cork tiles and linoleum.  The renovation was completed using sustainable practices and is designed to achieve a LEED CI Certification.
