DRS completed the field investigation and preconcept design for this one-of-a-kind facility.  The Sample Receipt Facility (SRF) will support three separate (but related) missions for the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center and The United States Army Soldier and Biological Chemical Command (SBCCOM).  Each mission has its unique facility requirements.  The first facility is for the receipt of samples in a variety of matrices.  The second is for the fulfillment of signatory obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC treaty) and the third facility is for R&D/Exploitation missions.  The project will form the centerpiece with the just completed Advanced Chemistry Laboratory of ECBC’s new research campus.
