DRS was commissioned to undertake a master facilities analysis for Supelco, Inc.  The analysis relied on DRS’ CADD capabilities to audit all facilities; perform detailed stacking and blocking studies which were used to make recommendations for improving space utilization and employee productivity, and to develop options for a five-year master plan.  Design was developed for a 160,000 SF phased expansion and renovation of the existing facility.  This renovation/expansion consisted of 11,000 SF of administrative offices, 14,000 SF Gas Chromatographic Research/Development labs and support space, 34,000 SF of production labs, and a 45,000 SF warehouse.  The DRS work scope included programming, inventory of furniture and equipment, design of the new facility and all aspects of interior architecture.
