Slippery Rock University, part of the Pennsylvania State Higher Education System, retained DRS and The Saratoga Associates (TSA) in a joint venture for a Comprehensive Facilities Master Plan.  This 6,200 FTE residential campus was faced with the ever-changing needs of its campus population.  The planning team was able to intervene early in the process to re-site two projects.

In addition, proposals for improved utilization and consolidation of Academic Departments will result in a more efficient campus.  The academic buildings were assessed for existing conditions as part of the master plan.  There was a total of 23 buildings assessed with approximately 1,000,000 SF of space.  A review of the building code and ADA requirements was incorporated into this assessment.
