The 30th East Main Street Restaurant in Uniontown, PA was originated, designed and constructed as a fast-track project.  From time of conception to its opening was exactly four months.  The restaurant is designed as a high-end New York-style bistro.  The building is a typical turn-of-the- century structure with masonry walls enclosing the perimeter and wood construction making up the framing for the floors.  However, the main structural elements of the first and second floors were steel columns and beams.

The 25,000 SF building was brought into compliance with the new PA Code IBC 2003.  Major addition components to the building were an elevator and a new staircase from the basement to the third floor.  The existing monumental open staircase at the main entrance was renovated and sprinklered so that it too could be used as egress.
