For the first time in 25 years, Wilson Lodge is undergoing a major addition to the existing 265-room lodge by adding 53 luxury guestrooms. The new guestrooms will feature gas fireplaces, mini-bars, exterior balconies or patios and large five-fixture bathrooms.

The new addition provides dramatic views of Schenk Lake and the surrounding countryside from most guestrooms. This facility, which also will include the expanded park reservation center, incorporates the field stone and wood siding that provide character to Oglebay Park.  

DRS also has completed additional planning for the hotel that improves pedestrian circulation; parking and vehicle circulation, meeting rooms, future guest rooms and replacement of the main lobby elevator.
