DRS had prime responsibility for the design of a new 120,000 SF U.S. Army Reserve Aviation Facility for both rotary and fixed wing aircraft located at the Johnstown-Cambria County Airport.  Site development included the entrance roads, site utilities, parking lots, security fencing and landscaping.  Taxiways, hangar areas and aircraft parking were also designed. 

Along with the hangar areas, shop areas were developed.  Aircraft related spaces include avionics, navigation and flight planning, flight briefing room, officers ready room, safety and NATOPS, quality assurance and maintenance administration.  Administrative spaces include offices and common administration area, classrooms as well as legal, medical and computer work areas and reserve facilities.
