University of Pittsburgh, Campana Lecture Hall and Chapel Greensburg, PA
This multipurpose facility is intended to accommodate academic lectures and non-denominational chapel services. It is also used for music recitals and weddings, and is positioned at the Gateway to the Pitt Greensburg Campus. The facility seats 172 people. There is a lobby/prefunction space and changing/storage space at the rear. The building has a simple, two-part steep gable roof which is detailed to compliment the Campus’ other quality buildings. DRS worked with a stained glass artist to integrate his designs into the architecture. The interior features natural finish wood trim, splayed windows and a 36’ high vaulted ceiling.
