Butler County Community College’s Science, Technology and Cultural Center consolidates science and technology classrooms and laboratories into one building.

The 72,000-square-foot building sits on the side of a hill, with main entrances on two floors. The campus information system connects all classrooms and laboratories, close to faculty and administrative offices.  A 450-seat theater with an orchestra pit integrates performing arts into the building.

The stone for walls and stair towers, two of the most impressive building features, was quarried a few miles away. Recyclable wall coverings and carpets and operable windows represent the college’s commitment to sustainable design.
